After what seems like an enternity, the Hazelbrook road-works are finally complete. In true Blue Mountains fashion, we celebrated with a community party under the bridge. Local MP Phil Koperberg and the NSW Minister for Roads, Michael Daley, opened the underpass this Sunday past.

The local Rotarians were there doing a sausage sizzle and as an added bonus, there was free icecream and coffee. They wouldn’t let me on the jumping castle so I took a photo in front of the firetruck instead.

Just to let you know you still have a couple of days left to use the excuse “I’m late because of the road-works” as the underpass is not yet open to traffic. 
I would like to Thank Belinda for my making my first waxing experience as pleasant and comfortable as can be. She was so gentle and so lovely – I will be back for more!!
